The source data itself lies politely. A carrier-side export is one row per requirement, not one per policy, and two similarly named date columns mean different things: one is the date the case was booked and never moves, the other moves with every new requirement. A tool that trusts the column names runs clean, throws no errors, and quietly miscalibrates the age of every active case, telling producers to chase cases that are actively moving and ignore ones that are stalled.
Read the data, not the schema: aging keys off the per-requirement date, deduplicated by policy number keeping the latest row, so every view downstream (stuck-case escalation, aging buckets, the month-to-date scorecard) reads corrected numbers without knowing the trap exists. The application is deliberately one HTML file: charts via Chart.js, CSV parsing via PapaParse, no backend, no build step, and nothing persisted on any server, because the data is a producer's book of business and the safest place for it is nowhere.
